The Museum's Collection: 17 October 2019 - 1 March 2020

The Amsterdam Museum will be presenting remarkable objects from its collection. The central question is "How does a city museum collect?". The exhibition shows a unique selection of more than 100,000 objects that lie or stand in the museum's depot, which for various reasons have rarely or never been exhibited before. Enjoy fun, weird and unexpected objects that you would not expect the museum to have preserved.

Amsterdam, City of Beer and Brewers: 9 April 2020 - 6 September 2020

Amsterdam has been a real beer city for centuries. From humble beginnings in the Middle Ages, the city has grown from a few dozen breweries to worldwide success through Amsterdam beer brands such as Heineken and Amstel. The brewing process, the trade of beer and its raw materials and of course how we drink it are discussed in the exhibition.
