- What are the normal attraction costs?
The entry costs for all attractions vary and may be over €15 for an adult ticket. To see how much you could save on normal entry costs, browse our Amsterdam attractions section.
- Are attractions open all year round?
Most Amsterdam attractions are open all year round with just a few days of closure, usually around Christmas and Kings’s Day on April 27th. We advise you to check with attractions before visiting to avoid disappointment. To see the opening hours and dates for each attraction please check our Amsterdam attractions section or refer to your Amsterdam Pass guidebook.
- Can I visit the same attraction more than once with my Amsterdam Pass?
You can only visit each attraction included on the Amsterdam Pass once but the Hop on-Hop off Bus and Boat Tours can be used for the duration of your pass.
- Where can I use the Amsterdam Pass?

The 5 day Amsterdam Pass offers the best value for money at just €29 per day. However, it is quite easy to save with all Amsterdam Passes as attractions in Amsterdam often cost over €15 to enter.
- How does the Amsterdam Pass work?
The Amsterdam Pass is a simple and easy-to-use pre-paid sightseeing card that includes entry into over 50 top Amsterdam attractions and tours. The Amsterdam Pass also comes with a free guidebook as a useful resource, so all you have to do is plan your sightseeing adventure, show up to the attraction you’d like to visit and you’ll be scanned straight through. The Amsterdam Pass is available in 1, 2, 3 and 5 day durations which activate upon first use at an attraction or tour, so from the time of the first scan the pass will be valid for respesctively 24, 48, 72 or 120 hrs.

Your Amsterdam Pass (as well as your email confirmation voucher if you planned to collect your order in Amsterdam) is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Yes, the Amsterdam Pass comes with a useful guidebook packed with information about each attraction, including opening hours, as well as maps and helpful information about the city. You can also download the e-guidebook direct to your smartphone, tablet or computer.
- How much can I save with the Amsterdam Pass?
The more you see the more you save, so the longer the pass duration the better the value. But remember, you only need to visit a few attractions before you start saving money. - How do you define a "child"?
Children are aged between 4 - 12 years old. 12+ years must purchase an Adult Amsterdam Pass.
Note: Anyone with a Child Pass must be accompanied by an Adult Pass holder at all times.
